Amazon.com has over 9,885 results when you search for “Paleo Cookbooks” alone...
There are over hundreds if not thousands of Paleo cookbooks available online.
When you have thousands of choices, it’s really hard to decide which one is the best for you, right?
You obviously don’t have time to try them all and find out which paleo diet book would fit your needs.
Which is why I’m writing this guide: The Best Paleo Cookbooks for 2017 - to help you pick the best book for your particular needs...
I didn’t pick the best out of thin air. I’ve spent dozens of hours to complete this research. But you don’t need to do that.
I did the hard work of “reviewing” the best of the best…
In total, I’ve looked at a couple of dozen Paleo cookbooks.
But here’s my criteria of choosing the prestigious Top 10 Paleo Cookbooks of 2017
The Paleohacks Paleo Cookbook - This Paleo cookbook contains over 200+ delicious Paleo recipes that are mouthwatering and easy to prepare.
A lot of people fail and “quit” the Paleo diet because the meals that they were cooking were either boring or “too difficult” to make.
What make the Paleohacks Paleo cookbook special is that the recipes have been provided by a community of active, Paleo enthusiasts. So you’re not just getting Paleo recipes from ONE expert, but rather you’re getting tons of ideas and recipes from MULTIPLE Paleo experts.
One of the biggest challenges when changing what you eat is “food preparation”. With the Paleohacks cookbook you’ll learn several tips on how to quickly prepare delicious foods that your entire family would love.
Your purchase of the Paleohacks cookbook includes an additional 5 Paleo powerpack manuals. The manuals will help address two of the biggest challenges when people are getting started with the Paleo diet.
These 2 challenges includes the momentum that people needed to continue with the plan and the other challenge is what you do when you go on “social occassions” and “social gatherings” where most of the time “cheating on the Paleo diet” is more prevalent.
These are the manuals included with your Paleohacks paleo cookbook purchase: The 30-day Paleo Jump start guide. The Paleo foods and fails.
The Restaurant Paleo manual - How to eat Paleo in restaurants. For those who would like to get started with Paleo quickly without the hassle of using a lot of ingredients, you’ll also get the Paleo 4X cookbook.
This cookbook is special because 65 recipes in this cookbook contains only up to 4 types of ingredients. That’s for making a quick Paleo meal. And last but not the least is the one-month Paleo meal plan.
This meal plan is perfect for those who are looking for a step by step plan that they can follow for 30 days.
Eat Stop Eat - This book is not a Paleo Cookbook per se, but it’s a diet that covers intermittent fasting (the book is about 91 pages of quality info, no fluff inside).
Because the meal plan incorporates Paleo principles and complements the Paleo lifestyle, I’ve decided to include this book in this list.
Currently, it is one of the most popular and bestselling weight loss programs on Clickbank. Brad Pilon is the author behind this book and he shares what’s known as intermittent fasting.
This type of fasting (1-2 fasts per week) allows you lose excess fat while still preserving muscle mass.
Robb Wolf’s Paleo Guides - One of the world’s most renowned experts in the field of Paleo is Robb Wolf. And Robb Wolf’s Paleo Guides will provide you with helpful information on how to shop at groceries, prepare your meals on a budget and how to dine on restaurants following a Paleo diet.
There are 3 choices here, the standard package contains 30 days of paleo recipes + 30 day transformation guide. The Bonus package contains all the standard package plus the Paleo on a budget guide as well as troubleshooting flowcharts.
And the complete Paleo bundle includes everything mentioned in the first two packages plus the Paleo dining out guide. Click here to choose which package is right for you.
Quick and Easy Ketogenic Diet - This cookbook is written by popular food blogger Maria Emmerich. She introduces ketogenic cooking which helps your body burn more fat. If you are just starting out on a ketogenic diet, this book is a great resource to learn more about it.
But what I love the most about this book is that it has tons of beautiful pictures. Just looking at those pictures would make your mouth water. The ingredients used in this cookbook are raw, whole based foods that are the basics of a Paleo diet.
Paleo for Beginners - This book is written by John Chatham. And if you're looking for a beginner's guide to Paleo, then this book is for you. The author knows the difficulty of moving from a diet of processed foods to a diet of real foods: Paleo. Which is why the author even provides a whole chapter on how to transition into this new lifestyle.
It contains a lot of useful information for beginners including which foods to eat. How to shop for high quality foods, mistakes to avoid, the best time of the day to eat and ways to personalize your diet.
Against All Grain - Danielle Walker is the author of this New York Times Bestseller. She has battled autoimmune disease for a very long time using modern-day medicine. This is when she decided to take matters on her own hand by allowing food to be her medicine. She has mastered grain-free, gluten-free and dairy-free cooking which has allowed here to eliminate her ailments.
One of the author's famous recipe includes the "World-Famous Sandwich Bread" that tastes like "wheat bread". You won't have to crave for "bread" anymore with this recipe. Another bestselling recipes includes the "Slow cooker sesame orange chicken with Basic Cauliflower rice". Again, another favorite recipe for your entire family to enjoy!
The Paleo Cookbook simplifies the change towards whole foods (Paleo) from a diet of processed and unhealthy foods. It provides great information behind the scientific theory of the Paleo diet as well as ways and tips people can slowly transition to this diet.
There are over 300 recipes inside this book, but unfortunately the images are in black and white. Though the recipes are easy and quick to prepare, you won't be enticed to try it because of the B&W pictures.
Well Fed has a mantra that in order to be happy when preparing and eating meals, you need to be prepared and you need to avoid boredom. Melissa's Well Fed book is the Paleo cookbook that you would have wanted when you first got started with the Paleo Diet. Every recipe that most people try WORKS and is delicious.
These are great recipes that will make you feel like kings and queens (because of the thought put on the recipes and dish). But some people have issues with the binding of the book. So it's best to reinforce the binding or grab the digital version.
One of the best features of this book is that it has pairing and variations of ingredients that you can use. And if you're going Paleo, sometimes it can be hard to pick what ingredients are Paleo "compatible" that are available on your cupboard or available in a local grocery near you. The meals are easy to prepare and delicious. This book emphasizes on meal planning and preparation which helps you save a lot of time.
Practical Paleo is the cookbook that you'll love. There are over 120 easy-to-follow Paleo recipes/ You'll be learning a lot of NEW stuff from the Practical Paleo New York Times bestseller.
